wide open spaces...

I bet you are singing that song in your head now...haha.  Anyway, my dad lives in Laguna Woods and his house faces this beautiful park that is actually a protected wildlife area.  There is a creek that runs through the park and a tree that is hundreds of years old.  The tree is said to have been there before the pilgrims landed.  So, when we visit my dad it is a taste of freedom for Hudson's little boy heart.

I think Summer is definitely a doting auntie...
