Christmas in Ohio

We just got back last week from our trip to Ohio to visit Travis' parents and his sister.  It was so refreshing to get away from the hustle and bustle of life.  We literally just relaxed in their home, played games, watched movies, ate food and just enjoyed each other.  We also spent some time with our really good friends, Allan and Hillary, and their daughter Savannah.  Unfortunately, because we were in relax mode... I hardly took any pictures!  So, I don't even have one picture with them.  Here are a few of the pictures that I actually took.

I am sure the people in front of us were thinking it was their lucky day that this cute little guy was sitting behind them.  But actually, after our flight landed the people around us were complimenting us on how they never even heard him make a peep.

Falling asleep on Grandpa Collins:

The view out their front window.  It was 12 degrees when we landed and it got even colder.  I didn't mind it because we stayed inside where it was warm.  It snowed 6 inches during one of the days and it was absolutely beautiful to look at while drinking a cup of hot tea and snuggling under a warm blanket.

Hudson chillin' in Savannah's chair:

more time with Grandpa...

Travis and Brandon went outside to help shovel the snow for their dad... and this is what ended up happening:

My only complaint is that I wish Trav's family lived closer so we could see them more often.  They are such a blessing to us and we cherish the time we have with them.
