Some Collins' boys goodness...

I really love this picture, because it is just a glimpse into the kind of relationship Travis and Hudson have with one another.  Travis truly delights in his son and it is clear Hudson feels safe in his father's arms.  Hudson has learned that his father will never turn him away.  It is a good reminder of our Father in heaven.  It is so humbling to think that our Creator, our Lord takes delight in us.  Wow!  

Thank you Travis for being a reflection of God's love for us.  You are an amazing father and I love being on this adventure with you!  Happy Father's Day Love!

I never want to forget how this sweet baby looks as he is fast asleep and I never want to forget how my heart feels as I watch him breathe in and out.  Some blessings never get old.

memorial day fun

On Memorial Day, we celebrated with some our best friends, the Davis family.  We started off by taking a few pictures of their family to document London turning 2!  Then we went to a petting zoo to let the kiddos explore.  It really turned out to be so much fun.  London even took a ride on the horse all by herself.  Hudson just wanted to touch the horse.  He was not interested in riding on it.

The goats were a little aggressive about eating the food we brought in, so BD took care of it:

Don't judge London's boy outfit.  Good thing we have clothes from newborn to 2T because we just pulled out some of Hudson's clothes for London.  It was a little chilly as the sun was going down and London didn't have a change of clothes.

By this point, we looked nice and grubby, but it was such a fun day.

Then we enjoyed the sunset and back to the spa to warm up and wash off the sand.  These are my favorite kinds of days.

My step dad served 42 years in the military and we are very thankful for not only his service, but all of our service men and women.  We were definitely mindful of all the sacrifices that are made in order for us to live in a free country.

Hudson is learning and observing so much these days.  He mimics things we do and he is even beginning to say what we say.  He will point at things and say "WOW".  It makes us laugh and we didn't know where it came from... until... we realized the source.  It is me.  While on the phone with my mother-in-law I said "wow" about a dozen times while listening to a story she was telling me.  Since then I have noticed "wow" seems to be a go-to word in my vocabulary selection.

The other day I caught him typing away on one of our computers.  He was looking so intently at the screen as though he was working on a very important project.

Here's for one long Disneyland post...

Well, the Collins family is now proud owners of Disneyland passes!  We had passes while I was pregnant with Hudson, but it has been a little over a year since they expired.  So, we were pretty excited to be pass holders again.  This time around it is a whole new experience now that we have the Hud Bud.  Disneyland through his eyes is just better. 

We went three times the first week, so we are definitely getting our money's worth.  Here are pictures from Day 1.  We went with some of our really good college friends.

Hudson and I met my sister and my parents.  We were only planning on going a few hours and then ended up spending the entire day there.

Day 3: 

We went just the 3 of us.  This trip we decided to just take a back pack with our small point-and-shoot camera and the beco baby carrier.  We aren't fans of having a stroller at Disneyland so we thought we would try it out and it was awesome.  

And on our way out of the park Mickey Mouse was out visiting:

Utterly Engaged

We are so excited that some of our work was published on Utterly Engaged and they featured us as a "Fresh New Vendor".  We are constantly amazed by the doors God has opened up for us with our photography business.  He is the giver of all good things.
